Being part of the Google Developer Group Singapore community has been an incredibly enriching experience. I’ve attended multiple monthly meetups focused on topics such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Google Cloud, and Gemma 3 model applications — each session offering deep insights into the latest trends in AI and scalable cloud technologies. The meetups are more than technical talks; they’re spaces for passionate developers, researchers, and innovators to exchange ideas, explore real-world applications, and stay at the cutting edge of Google’s open technologies. Participating regularly helped me strengthen my understanding of generative AI pipelines, cloud deployment strategies, and the collaborative spirit that drives the GDG ecosystem.
